C\u2019est le plus dense re\u0301seau routier au monde et le plus long de l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne. Occupe\u0301es seulement 10 % du temps par les ve\u0301hicules, comment tirer parti de ces kilom\u00e8tres de routes ? De\u0301couvrez la nouvelle ge\u0301ne\u0301ration de routes qui produisent de l\u2019e\u0301nergie e\u0301lectrique.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #64e600\">Capter la chaleur du soleil<\/h2>\n<p>Selon Eurovia, concepteur de routes, les chausse\u0301es bitumeuses sont un gisement de chaleur sous-exploite\u0301 :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Une route expose\u0301e au soleil peut atteindre 60 \u00b0C en surface et 40\u00b0C a\u0300 10 cm de profondeur.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>De ce constat est ne\u0301e l\u2019ide\u0301e de concevoir des \u00ab <strong>routes solaires<\/strong> \u00bb : la premi\u00e8re route solaire au monde a d\u2019ailleurs e\u0301te\u0301 inaugure\u0301e en France en de\u0301cembre 2016 a\u0300 Tourouvre-au-Perche (Orne). Longue d\u20191 kilom\u00e8tre, cette route a e\u0301te\u0301 recouverte de dalles constitue\u0301es de panneaux solaires.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019objectif de ce projet : produire 280 000 kWh par an, soit l\u2019e\u0301quivalent de l\u2019e\u0301clairage public d\u2019une ville de 5 000 habitants.<\/p>\n<p>Ce dispositif est actuellement teste\u0301 sur 16 autres sites en France et a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301tranger pour lui apporter des ame\u0301liorations et le commercialiser.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la m\u00eame veine, fin 2014, aux Pays-Bas, e\u0301tait inaugure\u0301e la Solaroad, piste cyclable solaire. Apr\u00e8s 6 mois d\u2019expe\u0301rimentation, cette piste de 70 m\u00e8tres, situe\u0301e sur la commune de Kormmenie, a tenu ses promesses en ge\u0301ne\u0301rant 3 000 kWh, soit l\u2019e\u0301quivalent de la consommation annuelle d\u2019un foyer d\u2019une personne.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis, d\u2019autres projets de ce type ont vu le jour.<\/p>\n<p>En 2019, a\u0300 Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis), une piste cyclable solaire de 27 m\u00e8tres de long a e\u0301te\u0301 inaugure\u0301e : cette portion de piste a pour mission d\u2019e\u0301clairer sous un pont situe\u0301 a\u0300 quelques m\u00e8tres de la\u0300.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #64e600\">Des routes a\u0300 e\u0301nergie positive<\/h2>\n<p>La nouvelle ge\u0301ne\u0301ration de routes va aussi exploiter la chaleur du sous-sol : c\u2019est la <strong>ge\u0301othermie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis 2014, dans le Haut-Doubs, le syst\u00e8me Novatherm est une<strong> route auto-de\u0301givrante<\/strong>. Cette innovation est a\u0300 la fois e\u0301cologique et se\u0301curisante. La technologie ge\u0301othermique est implante\u0301e sous la chausse\u0301e : les tuyaux plongent en profondeur pour capter la chaleur qui est re\u0301cupe\u0301re\u0301e par une pompe a\u0300 chaleur.<\/p>\n<p>Ce syst\u00e8me re\u0301volutionnaire augmente la tempe\u0301rature au niveau de la route pour la de\u0301givrer et permet d\u2019e\u0301viter le stockage de sel le long des routes et de re\u0301duire les co\u00fbts de de\u0301neigement tout en assurant la se\u0301curite\u0301 des usagers de la route.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ces routes a\u0300 e\u0301nergie positive<\/strong> peuvent aussi fournir en chauffage les piscines ou les serres agricoles. L\u2019e\u0301te\u0301, le syst\u00e8me peut refroidir la chausse\u0301e et fournir de l\u2019e\u0301nergie pour alimenter la climatisation des b\u00e2timents situe\u0301s a\u0300 proximite\u0301. Cette technologie a de quoi se\u0301duire les centres commerciaux, les centres logistiques ou les ae\u0301roports afin de tirer profit de leurs surfaces goudronne\u0301es.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #64e600\">Alimenter en e\u0301lectricite\u0301 les re\u0301verb\u00e8res<\/h2>\n<p>En 2011, Toulouse expe\u0301rimente <strong>les trottoirs podo-e\u0301lectriques<\/strong> pour re\u0301cupe\u0301rer l\u2019e\u0301nergie cine\u0301tique des passants. Encastre\u0301es dans le sol et monte\u0301es sur ressorts, ces dalles de trottoirs innovantes permettent d\u2019alimenter en e\u0301lectricite\u0301 les e\u0301clairages publics avoisinants.<\/p>\n<p>Concept ide\u0301al pour valoriser la fre\u0301quentation pie\u0301tonni\u00e8re des zones tr\u00e8s fre\u0301quente\u0301es, le trottoir podo-e\u0301lectrique pourrait a\u0300 l\u2019avenir re\u0301duire la facture e\u0301nerge\u0301tique des villes au niveau des e\u0301clairages publics.<\/p>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, ce syst\u00e8me de re\u0301cupe\u0301ration d\u2019e\u0301nergie est en cours de de\u0301veloppement aux Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #64e600\">Inclure les routes dans la transition e\u0301nerge\u0301tique<\/h2>\n<p>Dans le cadre de la transition e\u0301nerge\u0301tique, les collectivite\u0301s cherchent des dispositifs pour re\u0301duire leur empreinte carbone et pour<strong> produire de l\u2019e\u0301lectricite\u0301 a\u0300 partir d\u2019e\u0301nergies renouvelables<\/strong> : le re\u0301seau routier devient un enjeu environnemental.
